Description
This is Venice Fishing Pier located on the south end of the island of Venice, Florida. I use light and shadow to help to create a picture. Sometimes its more obvious than others. As the sun had just risen over the horizon behind me, I began to photograph this spot because I knew it was special. The scene literally unfold before my eyes. I loved how the light was reflecting off the beams of the pier and then I noticed the reflection down in the water. I have a few other photographs from this position, but for me, this was the optimum time for image capture.
