Description
Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge is a Wetlands that is 18,217 acres of the Channeled Scablands. The volcanism, glaciation and the largest floods in geological history combined to form a distinct environment. The combination of basalt, flooded and eroded channels, and pine trees produced a landscape of over 130 marshes, wetlands and lakes.
